The OSV4 GB Pro also supports cheating, game saving, and saving game progress for continued play. The replaceable battery design, paired with a power-saving module, can save up to 30% of power, allowing the GBP to run perfectly using standard AAA batteries. It is important to note that some modifications for bright GBP LCDs can be power-hungry, so using AAA batteries with proper voltage stability is recommended.

The OSV4 GB Pro is compatible with JDGB high-quality national standard GBC gameboy cartridges and is suitable for national standard GBC GBA SP game consoles. While the GB Pro supports 99% of GB games, it does not support RTC clock function. Users have the ability to delete and add their own games by simply downloading the game ROM to the memory card.
